••• Welfare and Support for Oko-Baba Home Remain a Major Priority of the Administration •••
The Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government, Mayor Dr. Jubril Kolawole Emilagba, today received representatives of Oko-Baba Home for the Destitute and Persons with Disabilities in a meeting focused on the welfare and continued support of residents of the Home.
In his address, Mayor Emilagba reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to promoting the welfare and inclusion of vulnerable members of the community. He assured the representatives that appropriate support and assistance would continue to be extended to the home within the available resources of the local government.
The mayor further encouraged eligible residents who are duly registered and have obtained their Permanent Voter Cards to participate actively in the democratic process and exercise their civic responsibilities during future elections.
The representatives expressed their appreciation to Mayor Emilagba for his concern and commitment to their welfare while reaffirming their support for the administration’s efforts towards inclusive governance and improved social welfare.
