Today, July 27, 2026, marks exactly one year since I had the honour of taking the oath of office as the Executive Chairman of Lagos Mainland Local Government. It has been a year of service, responsibility, and an unwavering commitment to the people of Lagos Mainland.
First and foremost, I return all glory to Almighty Allah for His boundless mercy, guidance, wisdom, and protection throughout this journey. Every step taken and every milestone recorded has been made possible by His grace.
As we mark this significant occasion, I express my deepest appreciation to our revered leaders in Lagos Mainland for their invaluable guidance, unwavering support, and wise counsel. I specially acknowledge Hon. Wale Oshun, Hon. Owolabi Monsuru, my leader, Hon. Jide Jimoh, and all our distinguished leaders whose encouragement and commitment have continued to strengthen our resolve to serve our people diligently.
I also extend my heartfelt gratitude to the members of Mainland Voice for their steadfast support, constructive engagement, and belief in our shared vision for a better Lagos Mainland.

My sincere appreciation also goes to our party leaders, elected and appointed officials, management team, members of staff, traditional rulers, community leaders, religious leaders, market men and women, youth organisations, Community Development Associations (CDAs), Community Development Committees (CDCs), security agencies, and every resident of Lagos Mainland. Your trust, cooperation, encouragement, and prayers have remained a constant source of strength throughout this first year in office.
This anniversary is not merely a reflection on the past year but a reminder that leadership is a shared responsibility. The progress we have made has been made possible through unity, collaboration, and the collective desire to move Lagos Mainland forward.
As we begin another year of this administration, I reaffirm my commitment to serving with integrity, transparency, compassion, and accountability. By the grace of Almighty Allah and with the continued support of our leaders and the good people of Lagos Mainland, I remain committed to doing even more in the service of our people.

Thank you for believing in this administration. Thank you for your confidence, your support, and your prayers. Together, we will continue to build a greater, stronger, and more prosperous.
